Radar "Julia" in Jicamarca

The name of this radar comes from the initials of the project "Jicamarca Unattended Long Term Investigations of The Ionosphere and Atmosphere Radar" (10min.13sec.),

this is a name describing a system which was made for watching the irregularities in the plasma at Ecuador (10min.19sec.), and for watching atmospheric neutral waves, both are long term studies (10min.22sec.). The system can work in an automatic mode without surveillance (10min.27sec.).
