The "moon photos" of Apollo 17 are dominated by "dramatic photography" with a direct sunlight which is only possible when the sun is coming through the coulds, so only important parts of the photo get a bright light. But there are no clouds on the moon, and this illumination is impossible so. There are many illumination faults, and also great shadow faults and other mystteries. The original NASA titles are given in bold letters and are confusing sometimes.

So the photo is a very bad photo composition of the NASA photo studio...

-- the tyre looks defect, not only the fender, there must be wrong something with the photo composition
-- the tyre profile is in the shadow, but there are flashing white spots. This is impossible comparing the other parts which are in the shadow
-- generally the wheel is not corresponding to the direccion of the frame, the wheel is in a position as if the wheel axle would be deformed.

The photo is a very bad photo composition with incompletely painted shadows...

This is one of the few photos where the "moon landscape" is as bright as the "astronaut". But
-- now the "moon landscape" has no structures...
-- and the Earth is oval and not round.

This photo is a classic NASA photo composition:

-- the flag has no shadow
-- the "moon car", the "astronaut" and the flag are shining on the photo. This illumination corresponds to "dramatic photography" where the sun is coming out through the clouds. But there are no clouds on the moon.
-- the shadow of the wheel is not round, and
-- the shadow of the left leg of the "astronaut" is not going with the foot, the shadow is "in the air", but the foot itself is on the ground.

This is another bad photo composition with badly painted shadows, and it seems the NASA manipulators wanted to finish their work early.
